Notice
On Monday, July 1, 2024, new federal regulations became effective regarding transcript withholding for students receiving federal financial aid. The new regulations amend the regulations implementing Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and are a part of the “Financial Responsibility, Administrative Capability, Certification Procedures, Ability to Benefit†(88 FR 74568).
To maintain compliance with this new regulation, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø has updated holds to no longer prevent the release of a transcript due to outstanding financial balances for students who received Title IV funding towards course credit at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. Enrollment impacts will still be in place for balances owed to the institution, so it will be important to confirm that students are fully enrolled and able to register for classes.
