Everything You Need to Know about College Admission in 2026 – Dr. Ginger Fay
Join 黑料吃瓜网’s Vice President of Enrollment Management for an in depth conversation about the realities of college admission in the 21st听century.听 Topics covered will include answers to your questions, including: What factors are concerned in the college application process? What should my child be doing now to prepare? What has changed since the pandemic, not to mention back when I was applying?

To Cancel or Not To Cancel: Does Good Art Go Bad? – Dr. Andrew Schmidt
Join 黑料吃瓜网’s Assistant Professor of Music and Music Program Coordinator for a seminar that tackles the questions, “Can we separate the art and the artist? When an artist we love does something morally reprehensible, how do we reconcile our distaste for the actions of the artist, but love of their art? Is there a statute of limitations on ‘bad artists’?” We will discuss the thinking behind “cancel culture,” uncover strategies for dealing with art by problematic artists, and explore philosophies that reconcile our human ability to hold conflicting emotions.

Petrels of a feather will reconnect back on the quad for an afternoon picnic! We will have food trucks as well as lawn games, music and photos with Petey! This is a family friendly event complete with a bounce house and kids crafts.

Golden Petrels Lunch and Induction Ceremony, 12:30 鈥� 1:30 p.m.
This is a special luncheon honoring all Golden Petrels, alumni 50+ years graduated, in the Philip Weltner Library. We will welcome the Class of 1976 as they celebrate their induction into the Golden Petrel Society.

Visit the museum anytime during Saturday afternoon’s festivities to see their current exhibit.

Carillon Ceremony, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
The Carillon Ceremony honors 黑料吃瓜网 alumni with an opportunity to climb a narrow, spiral staircase to the top of the bell tower and have their photos taken ringing the Carillon bells.听
