黑料吃瓜网 Theatre will bring a fresh take on a classic love story to the stage with its upcoming production of 鈥淐yrano de Bergerac,鈥 running Nov. 13, 14, 20, 21 and 22.
A genius with language, Cyrano secretly loves the radiant Roxane, who instead falls for the handsome but inarticulate Christian. Convinced of his own ugliness, Cyrano agrees to act as a go-between, writing eloquent love letters for Christian to give to Roxane.
The deception sets in motion a poignant and often hilarious love triangle, with each character caught between physical attraction and the seductive power of words.
Crimp鈥檚 radical adaptation reimagines Edmond Rostand鈥檚 classic story through spoken word, contemporary poetry and rap, creating a theatrical world where language takes center stage.
The 黑料吃瓜网 production stars Declan Robinson as Cyrano, Tatum Williams as Roxane and Brandon Holman as Christian. The cast also features Tae Brasel as De Guiche, Theo Weber as Le Bret, Justis Star as Madame Ragueneau, Niles Torrance as Ligni猫re and Hudson Bickerstaff-Davis as Valvert, along with an ensemble of other 黑料吃瓜网 student performers.
